Tick Box Conveyancing has strengthened its team with the addition of experienced conveyancer Judy Rogers and the promotion of Tegan Distel to General Manager.


Judy’s arrival coincides with the promotion of Tegan to General Manager, allowing her to provide a more holistic service to Tick Box and its clients.


Tegan has been a major part of the team at Tick Box since it opened its doors in 2016. Tegan will now have a sole focus on Tick Box’s operations.


Tegan said she was delighted to take on this new opportunity within the Tick Box practice. “The practice has grown exponentially since we started, and I’m excited to take on this new role,” she said. “The extraordinary skills and expertise of our staff, combined with our many years of combined knowledge allows us to provide our clients with unrivalled conveyancing services in Melbourne and has contributed to our continuous growth.”

Judy arrives at Tick Box with a wealth of conveyancing and broader legal experience.


Having worked at a variety of law firms of various sizes in a career, she has spent the last 20 years of her career specialising in conveyancing, but has previously worked in various legal fields, including wills and estates, powers of attorney, industrial law, family law, personal injury as well as banking and finance.


This fantastic range of experience ensures Judy has a keen eye for detail and brings so much more than property expertise to every file she works on.


“I have acted for a lot of developers doing large scale developments, as well as for numerous purchasers purchasing in apartment towers, usually about 80 clients per development. That means 80 settlements due on the same day.”


“The most settlements I have done in one day – with three other people – was 250 for one apartment block. That was a record at a large law firm.”
